Fadwa Hayek opened her Atelier “ Fadwa Hayek Couture” in Gemmayzeh district at the heart of Beirut.

Gemmayzeh Street, known for its historical buildings and vintage architecture, reinforces the splendor of the old and modern generations and is reminiscent of Fadwa’s dream for fashion that personify the women beauty between the striking past and modern present. “Working for over 10 years in the Fashion industry at the United Arab Emirates and contributing to the establishment of several Haute Couture Ateliers specialized in dresses and wedding gowns; have always been for me an incentive to kick off my own ambition and achieve my dream by creating my personal brand in my home country and beloved City.

Today I am extremely happy as I see my dream came true in a street full of life, movement, arts and historical places beside my many other achievements in the Region. “

The atelier is located on the second floor of a vintage building in Gemmayzeh Street, a district of Beirut.

Featuring a French architectural, the tall wooden gate welcomes you to discover an exciting world of innovative design and the implementation of a high-end Fashion Designs.

The house has two parallel pavilions with a spacious lobby of the modern décor.  Each suite has several rooms, some are dedicated to the evening dresses and the bridal gowns and others are equipped for the sewing and handcraft specialized team.

Coming from a modest background in the North of Lebanon and raised by family members with a flair for art and tailoring, the Lebanese young lady grew up watching and memorizing the finest details in everything related to fabrics and threads.

As she began to express her love for painting and design at an early age, she at later stage was looking forward to the pre-implementation phase of her passion.

Her love for color mixing drew the primitive lines for an asymmetrical dresses, loose skirts and jackets.

Perhaps these childish scribes paved the way for professionalism and the first steps towards an unusual drawings and designs that caught the attention of the mother who provided little Fadwa  more crafty painting materials. Moreover, her tendency to draw and focus on painting encouraged her mother to supply her with cotton shirts to fulfill her needs for designs and more specifically on the fashion side.

Few years later, the hobby became  more clear to Fadwa when her older sister asked her to design her wedding dress that turned to be impressive and the very first success that stimulated her confidence in developing her talent.

Post high school graduation, Fadwa joined Paul Rady college and graduated officially Fashion Designer. Her skills for innovation and creativity placed her as a Master Designer for several Lebanese  Fashion Houses specialized in Haute Couture.

Fadwa’s ambition was beyond the local territory, when she decided to move from Beirut to Dubai where she contributed to the establishment of several Fashion Houses and major names in the Fashion Industry specialized in High –End Couture for wedding dresses and evening gowns. In addition, Fadwa participated for several years in many local and regional fashion shows held at the Bride Show and he Fashion Weeks in Dubai.

Fadwa’s World for the love of the design and fashion has expanded Globally and emerged with passion for the profession that led her to visit many European, Asian and African Fashion Cities.

Moreover, her vast observation to museums, historical sites and multicultural destinations have influenced her innovation in designs and inspired her seasonal collections. Her global experience have even enhanced her Fashionable experience and refined her style characterized by a hint of rock blended with a bohemian aptitude and a fusion of architecture with unrivaled movement, all unified by a feminine touch.
